The Council of Ministers of BiH, at the proposal of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations, at its 78th session, held on May 12, 2025, adopted the Decision on determining the state origin and territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina “Free Zone Gradiška”, in accordance with the Law on Free Zones in BiH and the Law on Customs Policy of BiH, with an accompanying study on the economic justification for the establishment of this free zone. The Gradiška Free Zone consists of two territorially separate parts, namely the “Economic Zone Nova Topola” and the “Business Zone Liman”, with a total area of 313.48 ha, its founder is the City of Gradiška.
Companies have high expectations of the free zone as a new development opportunity. The zone is very important for existing companies, both for domestic and foreign partners who already do business in the city of Gradiška, but also for future ones who are interested due to the geostrategic position of Gradiška at the gates of the European Union.
