Assistant Minister for Economic Cooperation in the Ministry of Economy and Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Srpska, Slobodanka Dubravac participated in the Business Forum ‘Connecting Businessmen in the Diaspora and the Motherland – Opportunities and Challenges’ held on April 9, 2022 in Banja Luka.
In front of more than 100 participants, Dubravac held a presentation on the topic of business conditions in the Republic of Srpska in order to attract potential investors to Srpska. She presented the potentials in certain sectors of the economy, especially the metal processing, IT and tourism.
Slobodanka Dubravac presented numerous advantages for investing in Srpska to the audience, among which the favorable geo-strategic position stands out, as well as the free trade zone with more than BAM 600 million of potential consumers.
She pointed out the extremely favorable business costs in the Republic of Srpska, and the Forum as a good opportunity to inform the businessmen from the diaspora about the benefits, with an emphasis on support through economic incentives provided by the Ministry of Economy and Entrepreneurship.
The forum was organised by the ‘Koreni’ Association of Banja Luka, the Association of Serbian Businessmen of Switzerland and the Regional Chamber of Commerce of Banja Luka under the auspices of the President of Srpska Željka Cvijanović.
The forum was also attended by the Minister of European Integration and International Cooperation of the Republic of Srpska Zlatan Klokić, the President of the Banja Luka Regional Chamber of Commerce Goran Račić, the Consul General of Serbia in Banja Luka, the Mayor of Banja Luka and other guests.
