Free zones by municipalities

Free zones issue in the Republika Srpska is regulated by the Law on Free Zones of the Republika Srpska ("Official Gazette of the Republika Srpska", No. 15/21).

This Law regulates the conditions for the establishment and operation of free zones, activities that may be performed, termination of free zones, as well as other important issues: tax and customs reliefs, establishment, duration and termination of employment in the free zone, establishment and operation of banks in the free zone, etc.

Based on the Law on Free Zones of the Republic of Srpska, two bylaws were passed, which completed the legal basis that regulates the issue of free zones in the Republic of Srpska, and which enables their establishment and functioning.
