The Minister of Economy and Entrepreneurship, Vojin Mitrović, together with the highest officials of the Republika Srpska, laid the foundation stone for the construction of a new plant of the “Iskra Tela L” company in Laktaši, with an estimated value of 15 million euros, in Mahovljani.
The foundation stone was also laid by the President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik, the Prime Minister Radovan Višković, the Mayor of Laktaš Miroslav Bojić and the owner of the company “Iskra” Dušan Šešok.
Minister Mitrović said that Republika Srpska has a favorable economic environment and that the Government of Srpska, with its tax policy and education system, has worked hard to achieve such a situation. He also emphasized that the Government and the local community enable maximum acceleration of all procedures and administrative obstacles.
The owner of the company “Iskra” Dušan Sešok said that he decided to invest in Republika Srpska because of the positive business climate as well as the support of the city and the Government of Srpska.
“Iskra” Slovenia is a company that was founded in 1946 with a 76-year tradition in the production of industrial electronics, energy and telecommunications equipment.
“Iskra Tela L” was founded in Laktaši in 2007 as a daughter company of the parent company “Iskra” Slovenia. It is currently involved in the production of industrial electronics, TV antennas, capacitors, and injection molding of thermoplastics and duroplasts.
