The Minister of Economy and Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Srpska, Vojin Mitrović, together with his colleagues, held a meeting today in Banja Luka with the representatives of CCSC Technology Group Limited, which was led by the company’s founder and chairman, Dr. Cook Chiu.
CCSC Technology Group Limited is a Chinese company with a long experience in the electronics industry and is engaged in the production of extremely wide range of interconnect solutions,
including complex cable assemblies & wire harnesses, designed for use in applications found in specific industries, and has a well-established logistics and service center in Europe, the USA and Southeast Asia.
The representatives of the company expressed their interest in investing in the Republic of Srpska, due to the various benefits offered, and one of the most important is the proximity to the European Union, whose market is the primary goal. The company plans to hire about 150 workers with an average annual revenue of $15 million over the next three years.
The representatives of the company came for a several-day visit to the Republic of Srpska, during which they will visit the proposed locations and local communities in the area where cooperation and investment projects could be implemented.
Minister Mitrović expressed the willingness and interest of the Government of Republic of Srpska and the relevant ministry to assist in the implementation of this investment and introduced the company representatives to all the advantages and incentives that the Republic of Srpska offers to potential foreign investors, its favorable geographical position, its proximity and connection with the EU, and promised all assistance in achieving quality cooperation, with the aim that this renowned company chooses the Republic of Srpska for the implementation of its strategic investments, so that the Government of Republic of Srpska would continue its positive trend of successful cooperation and business with foreign investors.
