The Minister of Economy and Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Srpska, Vjekoslav Petričević, has said today that companies can only maintain productivity and keep pace with the demanding European market by investing in new technologies.
During his visit to the Hidraulika flex company in Laktaši, Petričević said that the company is a proper example of successful business and development, precisely by investing in new technologies.
“The period behind us is positive in terms of industrial production, and we want it to remain as such until the end of the year. By visiting the business entities we are trying to be informed about their needs, in order to help them overcome problems, in accordance with the possibilities,” said Petričević to the reporters in Laktaši.
He stated that Hidraulika Flex is one of the world’s companies, which is 100 percent export-oriented.
“We support that to a great extent, because we want as many of our economic entities as possible to be export-oriented,” said Petričević.
He reminded that the volume of industrial production in the first six months of this year increased by 17% compared to the same period last year, and that the increase was contributed by investment in new technologies, so that the economy would be competitive and meet market demands.
“In some way, the coronavirus pandemic also contributed to that, as well as the orientation of the European market to the Balkan countries, which we should use by supporting such business entities in the field of investments,” Petričević said.
