The Minister of Economy and Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Srpska Vjekoslav Petričević commended the management of the Models company from Petrovo, stating that their investment in the production process was improving the business and survival in the demanding foreign markets, as well as affecting the creation of new jobs, which was significant for Srpska.
Petričević is satisfied that the company has decided to apply for incentive funds and the purchase of new machinery, the amount of which for the next year will be higher than this year’s.
“We have 100 new jobs here, and with the tendency to expand, new ones will definitely be needed,” Petričević told reporters in Petrovo, where he visited the Models bed factory, which operates as part of the Kavgiko company.
Director of Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund of the Republic of Srpska Srđan Todorović says that the Fund participated with BAM 100,000 in the co-financing of the system for heating plants from renewable energy sources, in which a total of BAM 260,000 KM was invested.
The owner of the Kavgiko group, Arslan Kavgić, in whose composition the plant in Petrovo has started working recently, says the plan is to have around 200 employees by the end of the year, considering that the Group markets its products on the EU market.
He thanked Minister Petričević and Director of the Fund Todorović for their support.
On May 20, the Models bed factory, which is owned by the Kavgiko Group from Živinice, was officially opened in Petrovo, and the ribbon was cut by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska Radovan Višković together with the Mayor of the Municipality of Petrovo Ozren Petković and the owner of the Kavgiko group Arslan Kavgić.
