On the second day of his official visit to Italy, the Minister of Economy and Entrepreneurship Vojin Mitrović met with the Konfidustria Business Association in their premises in Udine.
The meeting discussed potential investments in the Republic of Srpska, the advantages and reliefs that the Government and relevant ministries can offer to foreign investors. There was also talk about the further development of the economic potential of the Republic of Srpska.
The conversationalists pointed out the importance of further improving human resources within the framework of the economic environment development, which would enable the arrival of new foreign investors to the territory of the Republic of Srpska.
Mitrović said that a special set of incentive measures was available to foreign investors, which refer to the refund of paid taxes and contributions for the period of two years and financial support in the procurement of new technologies, with a special emphasis given to those investors who made larger investments (over 5 million euros or employing over 100 workers).
He added that the Government was continuously working to improve the business environment, and examples of this are several reform projects that had been implemented in the last few years.
