The Minister of Economy and Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Srpska, Vjekoslav Petričević, visited the company Delfin Trgotrans in Šnjegotina Velika today and pointed out that the strategic commitment of the Government of Srpska is to preserve every job and continue doing business, while continuing to create measures to help and support the economy.
He praised the efforts of the employees in this family company, which has been operating successfully for many years. The company Delfin Trgotrans was founded in 1996, currently has 43 employees, and is engaged in wood processing and production of various wood products and semi-finished products.
“The commitment of the Government of Republic of Srpska is to support such economic entities, which employ up to 50 workers. The project of procurement of a modern wood processing machine has been successfully implemented here, because it is evident that the process is developing here and entering demanding international markets with its products. “, Petričević emphasized.
According to him, the Ministry of Economy and Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Srpska set aside four million KM to support the economy and the processing industry, and the plan for spending those funds was adopted at the session of the Government of the Republic of Srpska.
“In cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce of Republic of Srpska and the Union of Employers’ Associations, we are looking for the best models to support the economy and the processing industry, which is the carrier of economic development in Srpska, and we are also trying to provide new jobs,” Petričević concluded.
Minister Petričević previously held a meeting with the Mayor of Čelinac, Vlado Gligorić.
The Mayor of Čelinac informed Minister Petričević about the fact that the municipality mostly relies on wood processing.
“The local community strives to support this sector by developing new technologies. At the same time, we are creating preconditions for the development of the economy, and we are focused on starting startups and micro companies,” said Gligorić.
He said that the municipality has the lowest real estate tax rate, a favorable possibility of construction, as well as incentives in terms of paying rent and other facilities for business entities.
Gligorić says that there are currently 565 active job seekers in the area of the municipality of Čelinac.
