The Minister of Economy and Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Srpska Vjekoslav Petričević invited businessmen from the Republic of Srpska to apply for a public call for incentives for small and medium-sized enterprises. This year, the Ministry has allocated BAM 1.5 million for this purpose. These incentives are aimed at increasing competitiveness and productivity in production.
Line Minister Vjekoslav Petričević also discussed support for local businesses with businessmen from Istočno Sarajevo. He visited the plant of the Bobo Graf company, which currently employs 44 workers. This company deals with visual communications, production of illuminated advertisements, advertising material, shelves and all types of printing. According to them, they have clients all over Bosnia and Herzegovina, and their plan is to expand, for which they need additional equipment, and they expect the support of the Ministry in that regard.
Minister Petričević also visited the Stanišić company in Pale, engaged in wood processing for more than 20 years. He also visited the new dryer plant of this company, which applied for incentives for the purchase of new technologies and equipment. With this investment, which was realized together with the Ministry of Economy and Entrepreneurship, the production capacity has increased from the existing 150 to 200 m3, which has significantly accelerated the production process, making it easier to reach the final product – builders’ joinery, windows and doors. Currently, 26 workers are employed in the wood processing plant itself, but as stated by this company, if they had sufficient quantities of raw materials, they would hire 25 new workers in the coming period.
Furthermore, the goal of the Ministry of Economy and Entrepreneurship is to become familiar with economic activity in all local communities, as well as to provide businessmen with all the necessary assistance.
