The Minister of Economy and Entrepreneurship, Vjekoslav Petričević, talked with the high delegation of the Russian Federation and the Arab Republic of Egypt in the field of defense at the Arms and Military Equipment Fair “Edex” in Cairo.
The Russian delegation was led by Oleg Markeyev, Deputy Director of Rosoboronexport, a Russian state company for the trade in weapons and military equipment, whose work is under the direct supervision of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The Egyptian delegation was led by General Mohamed Adli, Director of the Department of Weapons and Ammunition at the Egyptian Ministry of Defense.
During the conversation, Petričević pointed out that the military industry of the Republic of Srpska is a very important industrial branch, and that producers in this field will have, as was the case in the past, the full support of the Ministry of Economy and Entrepreneurship.
He added that the Fair in Cairo is a great opportunity to present and promote products from the field of military industry and weapons from the Republic of Srpska, as well as an opportunity to establish business contacts with potential partners and buyers from all over the world.
The majority owner of TRB, Slaven Ristić, as well as the company’s management, in the presence of the Minister of Economy and Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Srpska Vjekoslav Petričević, presented the Russian and Egyptian officials with the TRB products, a multifunctional vehicle “Despot”, semi-automatic pistol “RS 9 Vampire”, ignitors for military use and the complete production program and services of TRB.
The “Edex” fair in Cairo closes today, December 2, and more than 400 exhibitors are participating in the Fair, who will present the most modern achievements in the field of military industry and weapons.
