The Minister of Economy and Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Srpska, Vjekoslav Petričević, visited the Elvako company in Bijeljina today, where together with the owner of the company Slaven Ristić, he held a meeting with the representatives of the Chinese company TEPC (Tianjin Electric Power Construction).

The topic of the meeting was business cooperation with this renowned company, which is already implementing significant projects on the territory of the Republic of Serbia in the energy sector, and Petričević stated his support to future joint projects with Chinese partners, who were the main contractors at TPP Stanari.

Minister Petričević emphasized the interest in investing in that sector of the Republic of Srpska, thus making a strong economic stimulus, and stressed the importance of adopting the Law on Free Zones in the Republic of Srpska, leading to the establishment and functioning of those zones in Srpska.

He added that the efficient operation of free zones would contribute to the improvement of the business environment and increase competitiveness, and the realization of large investments would be the basis for creating a positive investment climate for foreign investors in the Republic of Srpska.

On this occasion, the representatives of the Chinese company announced a visit to the Government of the Republic of Srpska, in order to discuss with the competent ministries the possibilities of investments in the Republic of Srpska and the models for the realization of large energy projects.
