At the 17th special session, the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska has adopted the Program of Economic Reforms of the Republic of Srpska for the period 2021-2023.

The Economic Reform Program provides an overview of the overall framework and policy objectives of the Government of the Republic of Srpska, the macroeconomic and fiscal framework, and key barriers to competitiveness and growth, as well as proposals for measures to address them.

In the period 2021-2023, initiatives and reform processes that started in the previous period will be continued in 2006, bearing in mind that these are complex and extensive reform processes that last several years, the implementation of which will contribute to the fulfillment of the main policy objectives of the Government of Republic of Srpska.

The RS Economic Reform Program covers eight structural areas, which define 20 reform measures. One of the defined reform measures is the optimisation of administrative procedures at the republic level.

Optimisation of administrative procedures at the national level implies analysis of procedures identified in a unified register of all permits, certificates, decisions (so-called formalities) issued by national administrative bodies (publicly available on the portal www.pscsrpska.vladars.net), in the sense of their justification, justification for requiring the necessary documentation, analysis of costs and time in their acquisition. The aim of the analysis and the next step is to propose and implement the simplification of certain administrative procedures, and reduce costs and time for the business community, as a basis for their further digitization.
