Today, the Ministry of Economy and Entrepreneurship announced a public call for the allocation of incentives for the digital transformation of business of small and medium enterprises.

The Ministry has prepared a Decree on the procedure for allocating funds to encourage the development of small and medium enterprises, which prescribes the purpose, conditions, criteria and procedure for allocating incentives for the development of small and medium enterprises, obligations of beneficiaries, control and reporting on the use of allocated funds.

The right to incentives is exercised on the basis of projects, which have a digital transformation as their subject, and the beneficiary of the incentive can be a small and medium enterprise (company and independent entrepreneur) based in the Republic of Srpska and predominant activity and other conditions prescribed by the Decree.

Within the implementation of digital transformation, the procurement and introduction of appropriate software and related hardware solutions as well as the procurement and creation of digital platforms are recognized. In addition to the above, a digital transformation project may include consulting services or employee training.

Incentives co-finance 80 percent of the stated justified investments that the applicant has in the implementation of the project. In this regard, the maximum value of incentives that can be awarded to the beneficiary is BAM 20,000 for digital transformation projects.

The public call remains open for 15 days from the day of publication, and all forms to fill out can be downloaded from the website of the Ministry of Economy and Entrepreneurship.
