The third session of the Council for Foreign Investors of the Republic of Srpska was held on March 3, 2026, at the premises of MAHLE Electric Drives Bosna in the Business Zone in Laktaši, after a tour of the Mahle plant.

In addition to reviewing the implementation of previously adopted conclusions, the third session had as its main and only topic the digitalization of business in the Republic of Srpska. The Council covered the digitalization of the economy from three aspects, namely: digitalization of administrative bodies, digitalization of economic entities and support for the training of companies that provide services and training for the digitalization process itself.

This process would improve operations within business entities themselves, which would improve their internal production and administrative processes, thereby improving their productivity and competitiveness. In the administrative bodies themselves, digitalization would accelerate and simplify administrative procedures and thus significantly improve the speed, efficiency and cost-effectiveness of services to business entities. The digital process would also improve and simplify the communication process between administrative bodies and business when issuing various administrative and other acts necessary for their work. In this regard, the Council will make certain recommendations in the coming period and initiate appropriate processes, in order to give initial momentum to the most efficient implementation of the business digitalization process in the Republic of Srpska.
